Brian Espinosa is a young, troubled man who has had more than his share of police contact. When his longtime girlfriend, Melody, overdoses, Brian enlists the help of his best friend, Sarah. When Sarah arrives, Melody has miraculously returned, yet she is not quite herself. Detectives Madsen and Slater are en route to apprehend Brian on a criminal warrant.
